Meet Your Trainer
- Adam Armour, Owner & Head Trainer
"Dog training is temporary. Owner education makes it permanent."
I have always had a deep love for our four-legged companions and truly value what they bring to our lives.
In 2016, I joined the U.S. Army as a 31K (Military Working Dog Handler), where I received top-tier training from the Air Force's 341st Training Squadron. Afterward, I was stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. In 2018, I deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel with a Patrol Explosives Detector Dog (PEDD).
Following my military service, I worked with a private sector company specializing in training dogs for explosives detection at airports. During this time, I had the privilege of training over 100 dog teams and guiding new handlers on the critical nature of their work.
In 2024, I launched my own dog training business with the goal of assisting both first-time and experienced dog owners in enhancing their relationships with their pets.
Freedom Through Obedience
Freedom through obedience isn’t just a slogan—it’s our core philosophy. We believe every dog owner should have the ability to let their four-legged friends live life to the fullest. To ensure a lifetime of enjoyment and cherished memories, a solid foundation of obedience is essential for keeping your dog safe while they explore and enjoy their best life.
Tools & Methods
I believe in transparency about training methods. My approach focuses on building a strong foundation through positive relationship building and clear communication before introducing any tools.
Foundation First
All training begins with building trust and establishing clear communication between you and your dog through positive reinforcement techniques.
E-Collar Training
For advanced obedience, I offer E-Collar Technologies instruction. E-collars are introduced only after a solid foundation is established—they are a communication tool, not a shortcut. Proper education ensures safe, humane, and effective use.
Owner Education
The most important part of training isn't what I do with your dog—it's teaching you how to maintain and build upon our work together. You'll learn the skills to continue your dog's training for life.
